This year’s spring showcase is Black Comedy by Pete Shaffer. Here’s all the info about it:
Cast: 3 men, 5 women
Rehearsal start date: March 4th (no rehearsals during spring break)
Performances: May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the Auditorium
The Story: “Lovesick and desperate, sculptor Brindsley Miller has embellished his apartment with furniture and object d’rate “borrowed” from the absent antique collector next-door, hoping to impress his fiancée’s pompous father and a wealthy art dealer. The fussy neighbor, Harold Goring, is revealed. Unexpected guests, aging spinsters, errant phone cords, and other snares impede his frantic attempts to return the purloined items before light is restored.” (Quoted from Samuel French)
