
Stepping Out by Richard Harris
Instead of doing a musical this year due to covid restrictions, we will be doing a play with dancing called Stepping Out by Richard Harris directed by Laurie Nebeker.
Audition Information:
- Monologue Auditions are February 9th and 10th from 3:00-5:00 pm in the auditorium
- Prepare a one minute monologue before your audition!
- Dancing Auditions are February 9th at 6:30-8:30 pm in the PAC

- Fill out an audition form online
- Callbacks are February 11th from 3:00-6:00 pm
Students interested in tech should also fill out the audition form
Key Information:
- Rehearsals begin February 16th (no rehearsals over spring break; may include some Saturday rehearsals)
- Performances are April 15th, 16th, & 17th
- Cast includes 9 women and 1 man
- The play is about an amateur tap dance class; some characters have advanced tap dance skills and some have none
- The character Mrs. Fraser is an accompanist- must have piano skills; may be played by a female or male
- The character Rose is from Trinidad and needs to be played by an actress of color
- There will also be 2 cast understudies to learn the dances and play walk-on characters
- We will be following COVID safety guidelines during rehearsals and performances
