Technicians, or techies, are the wood and glue (pun intended) of the theatre department. Tech crew builds the sets, designs and operates the lights, make and assemble the actors’ costumes, and shift every set piece and prop on and off stage during a show. There are always plenty of opportunities to help out behind the scenes.

Pay an activity fee on MyPaymentsPlus – Only ONE fee for the whole year
Wear closed-toe shoes to rehearsal and performances
Participate in the construction and/or design process with respect to the schedules set by directors
Attend any and ALL Tech rehearsals related to the production (with exceptions to documented conflicts)
Attend any and ALL performances for said production (with exceptions to documented conflicts)
Wear completely black clothing and shoes for Tech week and performances IF you are on “Running Crew”
